Brown Girl Bags was created from my love for luxury and beautiful things, but also from my desire to create space for us within the luxury world. For a long time, luxury felt like something to admire from afar. I loved the elegance, the quality, and the feeling that luxury pieces gave, but I wasn’t always in a position to afford them. That experience planted a seed in me: what if I could create my own? Brown Girl Bags was born from that idea, the belief that luxury should feel accessible, empowering, and representative of the women who inspire it.This brand is about more than handbags. It’s about creating a space where women can experience luxury while feeling confident, seen, and free to simply be themselves. When you carry a Brown Girl Bag, I want you to feel elevated, confident, and reminded that luxury belongs to you too.
Elevate your style with our luxurious, eco-friendly handbag, crafted from premium vegan leather. Designed with both elegance and practicality in mind, this chic accessory is the perfect size for your daily essentials, measuring 9 inches in height and 11 inches in width. Whether you’re heading to the office or out for a night on the town, our versatile handbag brings effortless sophistication to any look.

Meet The Founder
Miosha McFadden is the founder of Brown Girl Bags, a Black-owned luxury handbag brand created to redefine who belongs in luxury spaces.
Raised in a low-income household, Miosha understood early what it felt like to admire beautiful things from the outside. Instead of waiting for access, she chose to build it. Brown Girl Bags was born from her desire to see more Black women represented in elevated, refined, and powerful spaces, not just as consumers of luxury, but as creators of it.
Her designs reflect structure and softness, mirroring the modern woman who balances motherhood, ambition, and identity. Each bag is created for the woman who carries vision, responsibility, and legacy with her everywhere she goes.
Beyond fashion, Miosha’s mission is generational. As a mother, she is building visibly so her children understand that circumstances do not determine capacity. Through entrepreneurship, she teaches that something can always be created from nothing, and that ownership is power.
Brown Girl Bags is more than a handbag brand. It is a statement of elevation, representation, and legacy for women who refuse to shrink their standards or their dreams
